HOW TO PRE-ORDER

  • Go to the page where the most typical items for Christmas are all gathered.
  • Choose the products you wish by adding them to your cart. If the product is not yet in store, the first date available is shown on the product. You may of course even choose products from our whole range.
  • When ready, go to the cart page. Here you may still modify the quantities of each items or delete them if needed.
  • If you wish your order to be delivered, you may see the different shipment alternatives including the costs. Please note, your order will be sent in one parcel when all items have arrived. If you want some items to be delivered earlier you must place two different orders. To arrive for Christmas, the last day we send the parcels is Wednesday 17th December.
  • For the 20 % discount to apply, write XMAS20 as the coupon code. If you don’t want to pay more than 50 % of the order value when ordering, the remaining as the products are sent or picked up, write XMAS20+50 as the coupon code.
  • When on the checkout page, we want to know when you would like to receive or pick up your order. Choose from the given alternatives or give the exact date for pick up from the store.
  • Select the shipping option you want (the little circle that means selection is rather dim)
  • Complete with payment

In the store we can register your order manually, you are welcome any time.

For orders placed after 21st November we can no longer guarantee the availability.
For all alcohol including glögg, the last order date we can guarantee availability is 30th October.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT CHRISTMAS

When do I need to order latest?

In principle, Christmas orders can be placed until 14th December. However, to make sure your favourites arrive in time, we warmly recommend placing your order as early as possible.

All Christmas products have by that date already arrived or are on their way – and unfortunately, we can’t get more once they’re gone. Because of the high demand and our limited capacity, it is also possible that we may need to close the webshop already at the beginning of December, as has happened in previous years.

So please don’t wait – order early to secure your Nordic Christmas treats!

Alcohol and glögg from 10 % onwards can only be sent within France. This applies also to 5 % beer. For guaranteed availability, please order latest 30th October.

The 1,8 and 3 kg hams arrive as refrigerated, not frozen. The best before dates have every year until now been long, ie in January next year. Until this date they can be kept in refrigerator.

Smoked and marinated fish arrive about 11th December. The best-before-dates are until at least Christmas, for hot smoked until New Year. Marinated salmon (gravlax) is usually with very short date.

Lucia saffron buns are available as fresh only the days mentioned on the product. For delivery or pick up in December we can’t unfortunately guarantee any fresh cinnamon rolls, sweet rye bread, 100 % rye bread or Carelian pasties. They are although ok to be ordered as frozen.

To make your Christmas shopping easier, Nordic Temptations will be open every Monday throughout November and December.

We’re also happy to introduce the beloved Swedish chocolate truffles in a new raspberry flavour – and the popular Sea Salt Truffles are now available not only in the classic blue tin but also in an elegant black one.

Starting on 3rd November from Monday to Saturday 10:00-13:30 and 15:30-19:00. Please note, we will not bake anything during the period 3rd to 15th November.
Closed on the national holidays Saturday 1st November and Tuesday 11th November.

By arrival with private vehicle the closest parking is the “La Poste” with entrance just in front of us on rue Vauban, outdoor parking and the garage “Pré-des-Pêcheurs” in the harbour.
