NEW REGULATIONS DUE TO BREXIT

As of now (mid-2025), sausages or other meat products cannot be shipped any more to private individuals in the UK. Even shipping of hard cheeses is, at least for the time being, limited with restrictions.

Due to post-Brexit import restrictions meat and meat products (including sausages, reindeer meat, cold cuts, etc.) cannot be imported by post from the EU to Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) unless you are a registered commercial importer with the proper licenses and inspection procedures.

This includes both fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable (ambient) meat-containing products.

These restrictions apply to both personal shipments (e.g., from a friend or an online store) and most commercial retail deliveries unless specific conditions are met.

Commercial export would be possible only with special paperwork, certifications, and customs controls. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to become a compliant exporter.

RESTRICTIONS FOR CHEESE

Hard cheeses are for the time being only allowed if they meet strict conditions.

Allowed if the cheese is commercially packaged, has an EU identification or health mark and quantity is no more than 2 kg

The conditions are met by the majority of our cheeses (Oltermanni, Västerbottenost, Herrgårdsost and Prästost), but not the Gudbrandsdalens whey cheese.

We have changed the settings on our website. If you have even one of the banned products in your shopping cart you will not receive any delivery options.
