NEW YEAR, NEW ARRIVALS

After the normal one weeks vacation, recovering from the busy (thanks to you our dear customers) Christmas season, we are now back in business.

Once again we want to wish you all Happy New Year – Bonne Année – God fortsättning – Hyvää alkanutta vuotta!

The last winter months mean every year the season for Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras) buns, semlor, as well as Runeberg torte. More about availability of the buns later on.

SOON TIME FOR FAT TUESDAY (MARDI GRAS) BUNS

This year they will be available on Fridays and Saturdays from 27th January until 18th February and of course on Fat Tuesday 21st February, from about 12:30 onwards each day.

As they are baked in limited amounts we strongly recommend pre-ordering at least 24 hours before on through webshop, by e-mail orders@nordictemptations.com or telephone 04 89 02 72 60 (+33 489 02 72 60 from non-French numbers).

When ordering through webshop remember to put in the order notes what day you want to pick them up.

The Fat Tuesday buns are not available for postal deliveries

NEEDS FOR FINNISH PRODUCTS?

Shipments of refrigerated products like sausages and cold cuts aren’t arriving from Finland as often as from Sweden. We tend to inform you of our intends in an early stage so that you can consider if you have any needs for the near future. We are now about to order goodies from Finland which will be arriving in Antibes around 9th February, the next arrival after this will be in the end of March.

To catch this shipment your order needs to be placed by latest Wednesday 25th January.

It is worthwhile to visit the section inspiration every now and then as we are constantly publishing new recipes and tips. These are the latest ones

and baking something fresh every day. Right now available: sourdough 100 % rye loaf and around 11:30 even cinnamon rolls. Tomorrow, Friday morning there will be Karelian pasties.

By arrival with private vehicle the closest parking is the “La Poste” with entrance just in front of us on rue Vauban, outdoor parking and the garage “Pré-des-Pêcheurs” in the harbour.
