Isterband sausage is a lightly smoked pork sausage with a slightly sour flavour from the Småland region of southern Sweden. It is considered to be a classic of Swedish husmanskost (traditional home cooking).

Isterband sausages are normally served with potatoes in dill sauce, pickled beetroot and mustard.

The product has been delivered to us fresh (refrigerated) by our supplier and is frozen by us before the best before date has expired. The date shown on the packaging therefore refers to the minimum durability of the product when fresh and no longer applies once the product has been properly frozen.

Product will melt at least partially during the delivery even though the fastest method DHL Express is used and should be consumed within a few days.
