Muikkukukko, literally translated “vendace rooster”, is a ready-to-eat product with vendace and pork mixture baked in a loaf of rye. Kalakukko (“fish rooster”) obtained Traditional Speciality Guaranteed (TSG) status in Europe in 2002.

Open the can on both sides and push the Muikkukukko out. Delicious as appetizer, on top of rye bread or with new boiled potatos.
