WELCOME CHRISTMAS, WE ARE READY
We have been busy in preparing for the merriest season of the year, Christmas, and consider us ready and well prepared. The last big shipments have just arrived meaning we are very well stocked!
PRE-ORDERED PRODUCTS
With many of you who have pre-ordered we have agreed the pick-up date either recently or by the time the order was placed. In this stage we do not take any reservations or put anything aside. First in first served.
The last web orders were sent today, you should receive them well before Christmas
NORDIC CHRISTMAS
Not only do we have loads of Christmas hams, all from ready sliced to big over 3 kg hams. But also smoked fish, even white fish and marinated salmon, gravlax. Not to mention heaps of vendace roe (löjrom) and rainbow trout roe. The homemade Finnish Christmas gratins are ready and we even have beetroot salad (rosolli), curry herring and Janssons Temptation.
In addition fourteen (14!!) different kinds of ready-made herrings, cheeses, dairy products, breads, sausages and meatballs.
You will even find the necessary drinks, all from juices to aquavit, and of course mulled wine (glögg) in different varieties. Gingerbread cookies, Candies, chocolates, marshmallows, you name it!
OPENING HOURS THROUGH OUT THE END OF THE YEAR HOLIDAYS
During the end of the year we will be open as follows:
From Monday 16th until Saturday 21st Dec from 10:00-13:30 and 15:30-19:00
Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th Dec from 10:00-13:30 and 15:30-19:00
Wednesday 25th Dec closed
From Thursday 26th until Saturday 28th Dec from 10:00-13:30 and 15:30-19:00
Sunday 29th and Monday 30th Dec closed
Tuesday 31st Dec from 10:00-13:30 and 15:30-19:00
Wednesday 1st Jan closed
After that normal opening hours from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00-13:30 and 15:30-19:00
LONG AWAITED SURSTRÖMMING (FERMENTED HERRING) IS FINALLY BACK
The past few years there’s been tens of people who have asked for the Swedish speciality, fermented herring, and it has not been available at our suppliers. Now it is finally back in stock!
WEBSHOP
Due to very high demand and lack of resources we were unfortunately forced to close down the web shop for new orders last week. It will be reopened for orders of non refrigerated products after Christmas. The shipping of refrigerated products starts again in the middle of January.
Fresh from the kitchen
is available according to the normal schedule.
Cinnamon rolls are baked every day and ready around 11:30. Lucia saffron buns will be baked for the last time this season on Friday 20th Dec
PARKING AND ARRIVAL WITH PRIVATE VEHICLE
Rue Vauban can be entered both from above, from the direction of Place de Gaulle and also from east. Just follow the signs for “Parking de la Poste”. The entrance of this parking is in fact just in front of us on rue Vauban.
During week days they offer one hour free parking, on Saturday a total of two hours.
