WELCOME MIDSUMMER!
Only just over one week left to the biggest Nordic feast of the summer – Midsummer! All essentials and much much more are now available as the last shipments before the feast have now arrived.

YOUR MIDSUMMER PARTY IS A GUARANTEED SUCCESS WITH THESE
For a successful Nordic Midsummer party you need the following:
– new potatoes, cooked and served with plenty of dill
– vendace roe for the starter
– several kinds of herrings, either readily marinated or with your own secret recipe
– schnapps to wash down herring, beers and ciders
– elderflower cordial as the non-alcoholic alternative
– seafood in all different forms (check out our recipe for Swedish shrimp salad “skagenröra”)
– marinated salmon (gravlax), rye bread and more herring
– smoked salmon, hot smoked salmon and/or whitefish (take a look at our tips for serving hot smoked fish)
– rye bread (crispy or soft, spreadable butter and a good sliceable cheese)
– västerbotten cheese for the delicious pie, fish roe for decorating (see our recipe for the pie)
– sour cream, to go with the matjes-herring or as a light sauce for the fish and potatoes
– princess cake for dessert
And guess what, we have all this in stock! Available even in webshop, dead line for orders to arrive before Midsummer is Sunday 18th June!

From 7th July 2023 onwards during a period of 3 weeks no orders shall be processed or shipped.

The store in Antibes remains open as usual the whole summer

Fresh from the kitchen
is available according to the normal schedule. Right now we have sweet rye bread, this afternoon the 100 % rye bread. Carelian pasties are baked exceptionally already this evening. Cinnamon rolls are baked every day.


AT YOUR SERVICE
from Tuesday to Saturday 10:00-13:30 and 15:30-19:00
and baking something fresh every day.
During Midsummer week we will be open normally, even Friday and Saturday!
By arrival with private vehicle the closest parking is the “La Poste” with entrance just in front of us on rue Vauban, outdoor parking and the garage “Pré-des-Pêcheurs” in the harbour.
